A New Discovery

When a pack of wolves leaves their cliffside home to hunt, they discover a human baby and name her Athena. Under their care, Athena comes to learn why found family is good for you, while the impact of learning from one another makes the whole group better-especially the wolves' fierce alpha leaders, Stalker and Adira.

But when their rivals, the foxes, reignite an age-old fight and threaten to kill any pups-or children-in their wake, a war between different animals emerges. Now, protecting loved ones from enemies is more than just a promise made. It's a vow kept-and the only way to survive.

Eleven-year-old author Addison Szantay weaves a story in which wolves take care of a lost human to show that love is cultivated anywhere you nurture it.
