Faith That Moved Mountains

Sometimes it's not about faith. Sometimes it's about trust. That is the very bedrock of our belief system and the reason why we follow in our Christian faith. Pastor Hidle and his wife Nancy received a calling on their life to plant churches and that takes all the faith you can muster. But when you uproot everything you built and venture out into an unknown in an Abraham kind of way, not knowing where you are going or how you will get there, that is the kind of trust in the Lord that will move mountains. Matthew 17:20......I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there, ' and it will move; and nothing shall be impossible for you.

This is a story of how simple faith turned into an extraordinary trust, and a move of God took place, beginning a church that is still thriving today after 50 years in existence. Through four Pastors, countless stumbling blocks and even more numerous delays, the move of God prevailed throughout five decades. The main theme that continued to surface after each obstacle was trusting in a faith that moved mountains.
