Love Given, Love Received

What does it mean to truly love someone with our entire being? How can love guide us when we are faced with impossible choices? What do we use to guide our actions when the only certainty is the upheaval of our world and the worlds of those we care about the most?

This first Reshu-centered novel, set in the forests of northern Japan in the final years of the Edo period, explores these questions through the lives of two kitsune, Reshu and her wife Tasogare, and how their decisions ripple through time, affecting not only their immediate loved one, but also the lives of others they care deeply about.
