Jihadisme, a war against the West ?

Islamist terrorism has been rampant in the West for several years. Jihadists" have already caused hundreds of deadly attacks in Europe and North America, killing thousands. But can we say that Islamist terrorism is a "holy war" against the Christian West, whose ultimate goal is to conquer the world? The reality is much more complex than that.
