About the Author

Dr. Kjell E. Lauvik has worked in international security for more than 25 years.

His security background began in the military, and he has subsequently worked in private security in several fields, including close protection, technical counter surveillance, and living child abduction cases abroad.

In his professional career, Mr. Lauvik has worked as a Security Adviser in more than 65 countries, often in high-risk environments.

He has a Ph.D. in Conflict Resolution, a Master's in Emergency Management and Planning, and an Advanced Diploma of Security (Risk Management).
