Last Chance at Redemption

Nathaniel McBain and Shackleton Frost are escorting a prisoner to Beaver Ridge jail when they meet Shackleton's old friend Dwight Colfax. After relaying the message that their next assignment is in Redemption, there's a terrible accident and Dwight accidentally shoots Shackleton.

With Shackleton not being fit enough to go to Redemption, he recommends that Nathaniel takes on Dwight as his new partner. Despite his misgivings Nathaniel accepts the advice, but when they reach Redemption he regrets it as Dwight has made another mistake. He misread the message and they have to escort ten dangerous prisoners, not one and it's a long way back to Beaver Ridge!
