Neither Casey, nor the girls, were na?ve enough to think that the skullduggery of the last twenty-four hours would just simply vanish into the mist without ramifications in some form. They knew they had more to do to distance themselves from any further involvement with their co-conspirators too. Today they would find themselves further down the rabbit hole again. 100% in the opposite direction of where they wanted to go.

A dash down the East Coast was another involuntary and impromptu quest for separation and freedom again. An urgent meeting was called by Dixie that got Casey rolling back into a race to get the evidence that once more may damn Jesse and by extension, Casey, Dixie and his crew too.

Begrudgingly he tags along on a flight doing a drug run to the Gold Coast. Then has to adjudicate the complication of the kidnapping of the wrong woman, by a crew of less than competent cowboy wannabe gangsters. The stage is set for improvised conflict resolution of the armed kind.

Discovering a secret treasure room in a deception cloaked as a party, things complicate further while getting within a snapshot of his freedom. They find and get the cocaine out of the house, then they are double crossed by Dixies new partners. Even if Shrek wasn't kidnapped, this dumbfuckery was leading to a pretty bad place.

Some bio-organic gardening is required, as more souls are sent across the divide. No sentiment is to be seen, and not much remorse is left to mark the point of their departure, other than a thick acrid plume of smoke and ash. In a tale of consequences dealing out like wildcards, lines are crossed once more in the heat of the moment, and prices are paid by those unwise enough to press the Gods of Justice, and their special envoy, Casey.
