It used to be called the "Information Age." But now that information has morphed into something with the visage of a daemon, perhaps it is more apt to call it the "AI (Artificial Intelligence) Age." However, information is the fuel that powers AI and there can be no AI without information. Today, the result of the collaboration between information and AI is making us nervous.

The war between the flesh and the spirit is as old as man, and information has been the primary weapon of this war. With the emergence of AI, this war has become more insidious, fiery, and dangerous. The secular world is worried about the possibility of AI annihilating humans physically. Losing that which is destined to decay and rot away with time is a small price to pay. The most potent threat and danger AI poses to mankind lies in its potential to suffocate the spirit, thereby paving the way for the sentencing of the soul of man to eternal damnation. This is the ominous and scary prospect before us if the church consents to AI taking over its pulpits.

This book is not about a physical battle to stop AI or slow down our information technology exploits; it is about the private war we must wage against ourselves to stay sane and wholesome, as authentic humans, created in the image of God, and imbued with body, soul, and spirit, in a universe that treats everything spiritual with contempt and denial, and where AI is trying to take down man's spirit and possess his soul.

This is a fusion of the secular intellectual perspective of Information technology and AI with the spiritual perspective, to forge a common front that will enable mankind to contain the menace of information avalanche and the existential threat from AI. The goal is our wholesomeness as humans-to safeguard our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Those who worry about the moral implications of AI should understand that morality is a spiritual issue. The neglect of the spiritual is the cause of our moral woes of today.
