Bubblegum & Black Coffee

Bubble Gum & Black Coffee is a collection of poetry written between 2015 and 2021, my grade 9 through to third year of undergraduate years. These poems are, overall, about growing up. The parts that are sweet like bubble gum, then the bitter you must learn to love when the sweetness wears off. Doesn't it suck that we haven't invented a Willy Wonka never-ending bubble gum yet? Until then, we are stuck with black coffee.

Some of these poems are about love, some of them are about sadness - all different kinds and where it comes from. Some of these poems are about taking risks, some are about making mistakes, and of course that means some are about learning lessons. I hope you enjoy this book and the many to come!
