"When Stacy's life stopped making sense, she started living without convention, boundaries, or restriction. She redefined her life and chooses healing every single day." - Michelle Valdez.

As forest fires in mother nature cultivate new growth sometimes this happens in our lives too. Stacy's forest burned over a decade ago with the death of her beloved husband who was killed in action in the Iraq war. She and her daughter were left to attend to the burnt remains and learn how to regrow their forest.

Stacy shares her journey through the agonizing despair of loss to the deep internal work of self-exploration, and finally, internal transcendence and the potential of new love. Stacy's intimate and sacred healing journey is captured in poetic form highlighting love (prior to the darkness), loss (into the darkness), and renewal (become the light). The poems are a direct witness of self-exploration, healing, cleansing, spiritual growth, and spiritual expansion. May the healing messages in these poems serve as a channel for your own transformation back to the divine within yourself.

It is my hope these poems open your heart to the divine within. Stacy L. Pintor

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Stacy L. Pintor, a poet, writer, and healer, has been writing poetry since early adolescence. She is a former military officer, civil/environmental engineer, and licensed clinical social worker. She experienced the tragic loss of her husband during the Iraq war and has been raising their bright, radiant daughter as a single parent for the past 17 years. The resultant trauma led her to write more poetry and eventually leading to this book, a poetic memoir of a 19-year journey.

Stacy writes poetry to explore her interior and exterior worlds. Her style is automatic writing and then refines the writings into poems. She states this style of writing is a way to channel her higher self and her inner knowing, thus the divine within.

Her experience as a psychotherapist and social worker includes hospice care and providing individual and group psychotherapy to active duty service members. She also offers a soul healing blog with practices to elevate and resolve suffering. The practices are derived from both her professional mental/behavioral health background and personal, spiritual use.
