This small collection of poems symbolically represents the whole story in a nutshell----of a lifetime of reaching to perceive time-space reality from a soul perspective.
The starter batch for this collection was "edited by fire" when in the early Seventies, the author, during an attempted song-writing spree, burned the whole pile as "just silly words." Soon afterwards, about sixteen of her first "unsung songs" rose from the ashes by incessantly replaying through her mind, as if the verses themselves insisted on hanging around!
Though shelved for half a century, new inspirations were occasionally added or woven into the themes of what had originally been envisioned as a "rock opera" and kept in a private cache, mainly as documented reminders of moments of insight.
Perhaps, now finally off the shelf, these long time silent "moments in rhyme" can serve as a backup echo for others who are also reaching----to keep reaching within to stay connected with "Our Tree of Life."
