You Were My Destiny

Annalise Swanson thought she had moved on with her life. She had a career and a budding relationship with Thomas DuMont. That was until Shaun was brought back into her life while on a trip to New York. Annalise and Shaun lost all contact with each other after Shaun's father took a job at West Point, thusly ending their high school-aged romance.

Now, six years later they find themselves being reunited but at different ends of the country and with different lives. Shaun is on the cusp of becoming a Hollywood actor, taking a lead role in a western movie set in Oklahoma. Annalise has her life established in Baton Rouge as an English teacher.

As Shaun starts coming around more, Annalise has to make a decision to stay with Thomas or pick up where she left off with Shaun.
