The Way of the Son

In this warmhearted "coming of age" story, a young boy, unsure of himself and anxious about being tested, is in a world too big and overwhelming to understand. Things seem scary at first, but this same confusing world may be the best place for him to find clarity.

Xann is a difficult student. He tries his best, but disappoints and fails again and again. When his anxiety becomes too much for his teachers to bear, he is dismissed from school. Instead of abandoning Xann, the kind Headmaster gives Xann a task: "Find a better teacher. Find the Great Sage."

Xann is flung into the world with nothing but a book of empty pages. Measuring up is always on his mind, and even small mistakes affect him greatly. He has no knowledge of who or where this teacher is. Left completely on his own, Xann's anxiety threatens to swallow him whole. Perhaps this teacher can help Xann conquer his fear, and become the person he so desperately wishes he could be.
