Right now the most courageous man is Volodymyr Zelenskyy. I pray that the world will unite to fight for a cause that is bigger than ourselves. Reading about Russian soldiers raping a woman soon after they shot her husband while her son was hiding in the basement is just appalling. In this day and age brutality even in war should not exist. Rape especially should be nixed and those who do this horrendous act should get the most severe of punishments. It is absolutely unacceptable.
Meanwhile the latest shock wave is of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Grammy's. Chris Rock thus far as of today (March 29, 2022) had been radio silent. I think the biggest issue with violence is when the victim turns a blind eye to what is blatantly unacceptable - We as a society need to step in and speak out for the victims who for one reason or another will not confront the aggressor. Especially when you have various witnesses, video footage and more importantly evidence to support the fact that the incident did happen. Repercussions are needed in Support for the Silent Victims.
