Potty Training for 2-Year-Old: A Respectful Parenting Guide

Parenting is difficult enough without the constant battle of trying to get your child to go on the potty. Instead of waging a war that you will never be able to win, it's better to approach parenting with an approach of respect that will allow you and your child to bond while you teach them the ways of the world.
As a parent myself, I understand the importance of preparing your child for the real world, but rest assured: Your child will not leave for college still wetting the bed at night or not knowing where to relieve themselves. They will learn how to potty train on their own time. Over the course of potty training all five of my own children, I've discovered a few tricks to keep up my sleeve, and now, I impart that knowledge to you.
