The Encounter

Haile is a college teacher in his late thirties swimming at the edge of suicidal inclinations. When his neighbour, Amina, knocks on his door, everything changes.

The Abuser

Hussein, Amina's boyfriend comes from a wealthy student from a Disau well-connected family. He falls victim to attempted murder. Is Amina's twin, Florencia, behind this? Months of witnessing her sister's abuse at the hands of Hussein have led her to a raging river of revenge and a high sense of duty to protect her.

The Jogging

Haile and Amina routinely jog together along the Neptersine, a river in their city, Vodnak; their relationship entangles them in a web of twisted events.
