Texas 1877.

One chilly night in the Bent Elbow Saloon, a grizzled former cavalryman shoots a cattle hand dead over a game of cards. On his way out of town, he kills again. They set the bounty on his head before the blood is dry.

Garrett Persell, a bounty hunter from Brownsville, sets out on the trail, tracking him north to Indian Territory.

Does Garrett have what it takes to bring this hardened fugitive down? Or will he falter beneath the scorching sun on the Western Trail? The odds are against him.
