Planet Aqua: Home for the Hated

Earth is ruined - Plastic Particulate has entered the eco-system, creating a world wide desert. Humans must subsist on synthetic food and live indoors as the atmosphere and climate have become hostile. Only the rich can afford fresh food, decent housing and a private eco-system. Then a miracle, a new planet is discovered, one where nature is vital and food is plentiful - The problem, a toxic atmosphere makes it uninhabitable by humans. The solution is to create a race of clones. The manufactured humans that everyone despises will be built to purpose and able to function on that world. They will become the farmers for earth.
If only things were so simple.
