Markus France thought that he had walked away from his past life years ago. But now The Interplanetary Security Agency needs their best agent back in the field and orders him out of retirement. The ISA sends Major Suzanne Veribus, Markus' best friend to retrieve him from suburbia where he has settled into a quiet life. Still haunted by the death of his wife Faith. Markus agrees to return to the agency only when Suzanne informs him that her killer is still at large. The search for his wife's killer takes Markus around the globe and ultimately pits him up against a sinister organization known as The Widow's Web.
