Bubbles Had A Magic Wand

Sometimes it's hard to learn to be kind when we are alone, bored, and lonely. This whimsical fable tells the story of a lonely little girl named Bubbles and every child's inherent power to be a creature of magical intention, good or bad. This story was originally written in 2009 for my oldest daughter, who was just figuring out kindergarten and social propriety, with misunderstood success by her teachers and principal. It made me realize just how much empathy is a taught skill, not inherent in us, and based upon the gentle guidance and example of those who mentor us as we grow up. The illustrations are the original mock-ups I did for my video presentation back then, and they have been retouched with acrylic paints in my signature "GeeKayTi" studio style.
