There is more to Time Travel than just setting a few knobs and pedaling a hundred and sixty-year-old machine. The intricacies of quantum physics begin to take Chant and company through an ominous series of Time Slips, hindering their most well-intentioned plans.

Until now, the trips back in time have been planned and intentional. Now Chant and company are faced with slip trips that not only are an inconvenience but can have deadly consequences.

With all things in history, even the most joyous at times have a dark ring around them. What happens to relationships when a return to the past eliminates days, weeks, or years?
