Preface: I'm jealous

The devil used to the friend
I used to hang out with in school,
cigarettes, parties and some drugs,
and motorbikers with endless love fuel.

Since I pledge my confidence in God,
only harm has been to my heart, caused,
so I'm persecuted by my sinful dreams,
and sometimes, it seems I'm cursed, it seems.

Every time I cry, I see my face in my tears,
I ask Him what I did to have been torn apart,
but now I assume, rather say, that I believe
that He doesn't really care about my heart.

He has confessed in the prophetic book
that one's pulsing heart may be treacherous,
but for a bit of love inside of mine - I'm jealous.
