A deep friendship had developed between Paul and these special people at Philippi. We heard he was arrested and thrown in jail and we sent items several times that we thought would be helpful to him. We even sent our beloved Epaphroditus to help Paul any way he could. The room grows quiet as we anxiously wait for those first words. The parchment is opened and the reader begins.
