Zernike: Aberrations of Thought

Follow Tobias Wahlberger in troubling times in this Sci-fi dystopia satire on the near-future. Ten years down the line after meeting Abdu Snafazar in college Tobias realizes that his thesis on high artificial intelligence was not far from the truth based on reductive physicalism, Robert Johnson Jr and Ada Messerschmidt are being used in experimental situations under the federally contracted company of Graviton Inc. Before his Job Shadow at Graviton, Tobias; after conflicts with his wife Alyssa, finds the all-powerful Zernike necklace or the inverted nautilus, the Lovecraft amulet that has unknown effects and has it's wearers fixated on power. His daughter Joyce steals it from him and harnesses the aberrational power of the necklace for herself in the face of Tobias falling out with Alyssa. Tobias can't shake the feeling all his actions are being watched from some unknown force.
