I appreciated Dr. Fraikor's inclusion of primary historical source introductions to each new section throughout the novel. They added clarity, perspective, and historical fact to the unfolding drama.
In the closing chapters, this author so well captures the conflict between the Old World thinking (gods and goddesses) and the advent of Christianity and science. A five-star historical novel.
