Each poem is a part of the energy which is here in the sacred lands of the Native American people who lived upon these grounds. Their ancestor's spirits reside and preside here when they return from the heavens. The chants of their circle stories formed the basis of many of these poems for it is in the oral tradition to give credence to the elders with respect.
