This memoir is about the life of a young pregnant teenager. She was forced into giving up her child for adoption during the Baby Scoop Era in the 1960s. She married a couple of years after giving birth to her child only to find out her husband was sterile. She went back to school but had to drop out before graduation because of the cruel remarks. This book tells about all the ups and downs of being a birth mother searching for her child. And the pain birth mothers go through not knowing where their children are or anything about them, especially when there is a closed adoption.
