The Costume Party

The Costume Party is a fun picture book about a wise owl who has many animal friends and she wants to have a party but her friends are all different and she is worried they may not get along so she has them all come to her party in costumes. The cat comes to the party dressed like a dog and the dog is dressed like a cat. The elephant is dressed like a mouse and the mouse is dressed like an elephant. The wolf is in sheep's clothing and the sheep is in wolf's clothing. This is a lively tale that provides the opportunity to discuss how we treat others who are different. Wait and see what happens at the end when they all take off their masks.
