Keeper's Cottage

Emily never asked herself why her Scottish parents emigrated to Munich when she was young. But after they die in a car accident trying to attend her graduation, her grandmother reluctantly reveals the tragic love story between Emily's mother Moira and Connor, the son of the Laird for whom Emily's family worked as game keeper for generations.

Shocked and devastated, Emily decides to search for her paternal family in the Scottish Highlands. However, she does not find what she expects. Her grandfather Macleod lives humble and lonely in the keeper's cottage and last made contact with his son twenty-five years ago, when Connor accused him of stealing a love letter to Moira that could have saved their relationship.
