Ich bin Sohn der Erde und der Sterne, Sohn des Himmels: Ich bin g?ttlich.
Die Gewissheit, dass unsere Seele vom Himmel kommt, um in den Himmel zur?ckzukehren, vereint erleuchtete Geister aus aller Welt, von den Brahmanen Indiens bis zu den Mystikern aller Zeiten.
Um das 6. Jahrhundert v. Chr. in Griechenland entstanden, stellten die orphischen Kulte der Vorstellung eines schattenhaften Totenreiches (Hades, aus: A-ides: 'Unsichtbar' - Ort des Todes in homerischen Epen) die Lehre von der Unsterblichkeit der Seele gegen?ber, die durch Pythagoras' Sch?ler an Platon gelangte. Prof. Franco Farina The idea that a part of us, the spirit or the soul, exists and survives the body has been fed by religions (and, in turn, religions have been fed by the idea) and is handed down to us as a mystery or dogma, as a warning or hope.
But is it only an idea, that is, an elaboration of human thought, that gave birth to this entity?
Or is there something more tangible, such as the experience of a few individuals who have been able to "materialize" the vision of this "I" and perhaps even something else?
It is not my intention to deal with this subject from a philosophical, scientific, or religious perspective. I do not have the expertise.
What I want to do here, with this booklet, is simply to testify to the experience of what I have interpreted as a journey to the afterlife, my journey, undertaken in spite of myself and for reasons that I cannot explain.
An experience so powerful and poignant that, in an instant, it radically changed my way of reading reality (material and spiritual) and deeply carved itself into my identity.
