From the East and West: Journeying Among the Three Churches

Christianity betrays its roots. Its constant disintegration in the East and West is a result of this betrayal. Those who say Christianity is today on the sidelines of Western ideologies couldn't be further from the truth. Christian theologies are the hammer and anvil that have set off even the most rampant anti-God ideologies we find today. The fact that we take our theological developments too lightly has resulted in a tragic outcome over the centuries. We, Christians, in our theological bickering, have turned the world over to its demise; so it is up to us to put it back together by coming together, not on the basis of modern ecumenism, but on the basis of the word of God and the early church.
The author's personal journeying among the three main church groups is based upon one notion: There is no way Christ's church could be divided, for the Spirit that binds it is one. This journey took him on a theological and personal struggle that he could have never imagined, let alone prepared for.
