Mourn the Beloved Country: My Story following Cry the Beloved Country by Alan Paton

After 27 years of ANC rule, South Africa is now literally at the crossroads. The economy is sinking fast and the governing party of the day is determined not to deviate from its current path to destruction and ruin. This book will enlighten people across the world as to the truth of the unfolding realities there.
Understanding the situation is complex and this book sets out to paint an unbiased picture of what happened before the end of apartheid and then followed in the ensuing years. The author lived in South Africa from 1952 until 2019 which qualifies him to make a personal assessment on where the country is headed.
A keen student of SA politics over the years, he has sadly watched the country's regression since majority rule in 1994. The whole world was inspired by what we saw in SA post-1994 when an air of euphoria prevailed. But, what is the true position there today and looking ahead? Read and find out.
