Jaded No More: Abortion

Jaded according to Merriam Webster Dictionary: made dull, apathetic, or cynical by experience or by surfeit. I bet you can think of an experience or time that has led you to feel jaded. Heck, I think we live in a time where we can easily become jaded to everything around us and just try to keep our eyes shut and let our hearts become dull and almost hardened.

Throughout life we will go through many things that can make us question whether we are strong enough to overcome and fulfill our God-given purpose... or maybe if there even really is a God. We let circumstances start to identify us. We let people tell us whether we are good enough or worth anything. We let the world start to shape us. We let our actions and decisions strip away our worth. We start to become jaded.

How easy it is to become jaded and full of insecurity when you find yourself abandoned by your parents, pregnant at not quite 16, and facing an abortion.
