As I looked back on my life from the last twenty years, I began to reflect on the labyrinth of life that I've travelled. My story is not just of mine, but also my developmentally disabled son, who showed me how to heal throughout the hurt; and ultimately acquired the ability to thrive despite my circumstances. Unbeknownst To Me is a memoir of how my love and sacrifice, unconsciously gave me continued faith as I confronted the challenges within myself, as well as being a mother of a child with disabilities. It's my hope that my story of motivation, inclusion, and overcoming self-doubt will be relevant to others, and be a source of inspiration as I share how my son's reciprocated love helped me to fight for strength and happiness.
