A sports car flies around the corner, narrowly missing Mary Nelson. The vehicle plunges down the cliff. Without a second thought, Mary drops her bike in the dirt and runs down the cliff to check for survivors. What she finds changes her life. Gabriel Xander is gorgeous, rich and in a lot of trouble. Plain Mary is not who he is looking for, but quicker than he realizes, she has reeled him into her world of endangered toads, a jealous Mohawk-wearing roommate and a whole canyon of quirky characters.
