There's impulsive, and then there's "drop everything at a moment's notice and go off on a wild goose chase" impulsive.

Pippa Henderson is blessed with an overabundance of that impulsiveness. So, when an old letter addressed to her deceased mother shows up in the mail, the result is inevitable. Time to get some answers to questions she'd never known she had. Until now.

A forbidden diary holds information that demands investigation. Without pausing to consider the wisdom of her actions, she sets off in search of those answers--to find a father she thought was dead. Her grandfather refuses to stay behind, so with Gramps in to, she's off.
