My intentions behind creating this book stemmed from the lack of representation of my people in the media and other mediums. I am from Tibet and I am proud of my roots and heritage but it was disheartening to realize our experience is not represented. I hope my hand drawn illustrations will bring a smile on a girl/boy from the Himalayan mountains out there and validate their existence and experience . Wherever we are in the diaspora, Tibet shall always reside in our hearts .
