Drinking from the Wells of Salvation

We often think that our lives are lived in a void and perhaps we glance up and wonder if there is a God after all. Yes, there is. He was very present to the people in the old Testament. He then came down to us in the person of His Son Jesus Christ who Message and Church lives on. In the light of this, the Bible is not a dead book, but a living word and speaks to each and every one of us in our daily situations. We have no trouble in listening to details on the TV or FB, but we need to listen to what the Lord has to speak to us and to understand what he is trying to tell us. This book tries to help us discover his Word in our lives in the midst of our difficulties. The Lord met his people there in the midst of their difficulties, he did not abandon them. He does not abandon us. Though times may be trying, he is always there with us. This is what faith is, what we are called to believe, that we have a God who not only loves us, and wants a relationship with us, but is with us always and steps in at the right given moment.
