Samantha and Jason decide to pack up and head west in search of a new beginning. Unfortunately, they barely get settled into their new apartment before a global pandemic hits and forces them into a mandatory lockdown. As if being isolated thousands of miles away from family and friends isn't enough, there seems to be a strange sound emanating from behind the walls...

At first the hum is simply annoying, but its disturbing effect on Jason becomes clear as the lockdown drags on and Samantha soon wonders what's more dangerous, staying inside with Jason, or being outside with the virus.
