When I was in the hospital, she would come visit me daily, and hang out with me. When her jerky boy-friend broke up with her a couple of years ago (By the way, she has an amazing one now), we talked, cried, and enjoyed small pints of ice cream together. Like I said, we have always been very close.As I gently stood up, Janet smiled at me, offered her hand to me, and asked, "Rea-dy?""Ready." I smiled, putting my hand in hers.
