Victoriously Walking Over Troubled Waters

"Blessed be the LORD my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle-." Psalm 144:1.While the New Testament does not support living a life that is focused on human enemies or the human agents of darkness, it is spiritual foolishness to think that the death of Jesus on the cross or our salvation retires us from spiritual warfare; on the contrary, salvation enrols us in the army of Christ and equips us to fight the good fight of faith. Understanding the will of God for us through His Word and the enablement of His Holy Spirit gives us the privilege of knowing how to fight the good fight of faith. The peaceful nature of our calling and assignment as Christians must combine the gentleness of the dove with the cleverness of a serpent. The dove does not go round looking for trouble but the serpent won't be safely trampled upon. We're the offspring of The Lion of the tribe of Judah. Our heritage in Christ puts us in charge on earth and we are to shine the light of Christ to overcome the darkness of God's enemy everywhere we find ourselves. This worldwide crisis is an opportunity for the children of light show the power of God to our world instead of succumbing to the fear-mongering tactics of the enemy of God and the pandemic scare going in our communities. While we are to obey government rules concerning lockdown and the use of masks and sanitizers, we must not allow the spirit of fear to capture us along with the rest of the world.We are a different breed and we are put in the world as a major part of God's solution to the problem of the Devil in this world. The lessons in this booklet will help us to understand and dominate amid life's crisis."For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" John 5:4, 5Whatever you tolerate you will entertain. We are put on earth to rule in the light of God. We must not succumb to being ruled by the darkness of God's enemy.
