Read the description under the e-book as part 1. This is part 2. *****Post-Blurb: Out-Blurb the Blurb?***** "He is no believer in voting and democracy, and on this important point I strongly disagree with him." So writes Dr. Jeffrey Sachs in his Blurb at the beginning of the book. Democracy is now widely regarded as a bedrock of America. So, it is hard for any American to agree with me on this, let alone a top public intellect like Dr. Sachs. But I am confident that I will be proven correct over time - American democracy is actually much worse than the tried-&-failed Athenian democracy for one key reason: ancient Greece was a solid country, but America is not - America is practically governance-less, on top of a very shaky foundation! An end-to-end case in point: During the American carnage on January 6, 2021, some rioters shouted "1776 again" while storming Capitol Hill. This comparison of the American carnage with the American Revolution is valid for two main reasons: 1) Each had a big lying slogan (Stop the Steal vs. No taxation without representation). 2) Both were instigated by some lying leaders! 1. What is the American carnage, anyway? Read American carnage: how Trump's mob ran riot in the Capitol. 2. What is the American Revolution, anyway? Read Chapter 6 (What Is the American Revolution, Anyway?). 3. What was the outcome of the American carnage? It failed. 1) Its leader President Trump has yet to be held accountable, despite the fact that Even Trump's Defense Secretary during the Capitol Riot Blames Him for Inciting It. 2) Many rioters are being arrested and prosecuted. 4. What was the outcome of the American Revolution? It succeeded. 1) Its leaders were named the Founding Fathers of America. 2) 25,000 American soldiers died. They were no different from those who died in any other war throughout history: the children of the poor fighting the war of the rich. 5. Discussion The American carnage was obviously wrong, and most Americans can easily see it. In contrast, the American Revolution remains questionable, with most Americans not even knowing the real reason behind it, let alone its profound implication to date ... 6. Closing America, after all, is merely an experiment. Many experiments fail, especially when the bedrock is as bad as a tried-&-failed one like democracy. America, reform our failing political system, as I have suggested in this book, or become a fiddle, second to China!
