Dalton Ballgame is a world class sports psychology figure who lives in Montecito California. He is constantly approached by baseball groupies who ask him for guidance on how to help ballplayers. Dalton certifies various girls and they are able to replicate Dalton's penchant for bringing out the best in players. Largely inspired by the 1978 Rolling Stones album, this story takes the reader into the world of an elite pitcher. A rival mental side figure named Adam Scaramunga (who looks just like his namesake in the James Bond film) attempts to throw a wrench in Dalton's successful operation, but he finds himself in deep trouble when a prominent attorney leads a class action suit with a pitcher from the Dodgers named Josh Anderson.
