Born to Succeed: A Guide On How To Develop The Resiliency Within You

Is it true that some people are born to succeed? Or let me reframe the question, do all humans have the potential to achieve success? If you are of the opinion that everyone has the capacity to succeed, then the next reasonable question may be; why is it that many are not so successful in what they do? Why is it that some will never make any progress in their lifetime? Why is it that so many people perpetuate in an unending cycle doing the same thing over and over again, and not having any iota of fulfillment?In my profession as a life coach, I have found out that there are two broad categories of people. Those that have goals and live on purpose, and those that live on the results of other people's thinking - accidental living. I am an evangelical Christian, I believe in God and I know that the good book says that "It is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy." While many people have used this verse in the Bible to justify their lack of accomplishment in life, I am inclined to always show them what was written in the book of Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11, to paraphrase "God wants us to have a great future." I believe that was his intention for creating all of us. He wants you to be successful here on earth.I am of the opinion that we can all create the life we want, by simply developing the character and qualities that are essential for a successful life. For most adults, the need to survive is making it extra challenging to create the life they desire. The need to handle life's responsibilities has placed some limitations on our creativity, because we are constantly in the survival mode. I think the solution is to instill those character and qualities needed for a successful life in young children, because this is their formative stage when they are more malleable and receptive to new concepts.Born to Succeed was written to motivate, inspire, and guide kids to envision and start thinking about the future they would desire. This book shares short stories about life challenges and what it takes to confront and conquer the difficulties. The Power or Resilience is a guide to unleashing the resiliency within young children as they observe a hero battle to break barriers on her path towards goals. It is a hero's journey to your child to become one.
