Succeed by Failing

Sitesh Patel learned the power of making values-based, goal-oriented decisions early. As a first-generation American, he grew up wanting to emulate the responsibility and personal leadership he saw in his parents. They helped him understand that each of us, as a citizen, has to work toward building healthier communities. Through disciplined study, he pursued his dream of becoming a board-certified pharmacist. After earning his doctorate degree in pharmacy from Rutgers University, Sitesh went on to build a career in business. A bad decision led to a series of government investigations, charges for a white-collar crime, the loss of his license to serve as a pharmacist, and a prison term. While serving his sentence in federal prison, Sitesh recalibrated. As human beings, we all suffer setbacks. Sometimes those setbacks are of our own making; other times, we're born into hardship. Either way, we can feel as if we're failing. In Succeed by Failing, Sitesh shows us that at any time, we can choose to develop a stronger mindset and work toward being the change we want to see in the world. We can succeed by failing if we learn how to change our thoughts. He introduces us to characters he met while in prison. Through their stories, Sitesh shows us the power of personal development. When problems surface, we have to step in and work toward making things better for all. And when our lives fall off track, we must work to reconcile and make things right.s and reconcile. Learn more by visiting SiteshPatel.com
