Dogs With Jobs: Little Paws Series

There is a stigma associated with a variety of topics covered in this book such as mental health. Please note that I do touch extremely lightly on these but do not explain or define them.

This book is about celebrating and teaching how our beloved canines can and will "work" for us well beyond their normal companionship.

I recommend that you read this book in advance of going through it with your little one as some topics and words are raised that your little one may not understand. I chose specifically not to go into detail as I felt YOU (as the parent or guardian) need to decide how to explain and discuss these words with your child.

Words that may need discussion are: Depression, Alzheimer's, PTSD, Anxiety Attacks, Diabetes / Blood Sugar / Insulin, Bipolar, Mobility Issues, Blood Donations, ADHD, Panic Attacks, Deep or Light Pressure Therapy, Dementia, Veterans, Special Needs Children and Autism.
