CARICOM comprises 15 member states (Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago) as well as five Associate members (Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Turks and Caicos Islands). Despite the fact that CARICOM's members are relatively small with regard to both size and population, numerous significant economic differences can indeed be observed among them. Two are the principal targets of this book. The first is the scrupulous examination of the profiles of the 15 CARICOM members followed by a methodical comparative analysis, while the second is the conscientious scrutiny with respect to CARICOM's foremost characteristics, its structure and its main future objectives.
