Many books have been written on the Psalms, one of Jesus' favorite sources of personal prayer and praise, especially in tough times. A call to respond follows each short description of every one of the 150 Psalm. Inner transformation comes by our doing of the Word Matthew 7:24-27). Although study of the Word is necessary preparation, we deceive ourselves when we only study the Word without putting it into practice (James 1:22).
