Michael Kilmartin the Gunslinger: Black Gold

Big Hoss a Texas Ranger, has settled into his new job in Dallas Texas. He has succeeded in capturing and jailing many gang members that are to be held for a trial and to be hung by the neck. Although he has captured many of the gang members he has not captured the leader of the gang a man called Carl McCarthy. Hoss recently purchased a cattle ranch that belonged to Mr. McCarthy and Hoss found out that oil is on the property and is called oil and black gold. Mr. McCarthy has been taking the oil and shipping to Michigan when he owned the property and shipped on the train to a company called the Ford Motor Company. It is a mystery in why McCarthy let the sale go through to loose such a gold mine, and continues to be a mystery even though he is jail now.
