Two brothers buy and restore an 1800's hotel to its former glory in the glorious heart of Cork, Ireland. What was to be a hilarious journey of families building the foundations of a great legacy becomes a dark tale of cowardly betrayal and attempted destruction of the two brothers. Woven in-between are quite amazing discoveries: hidden in underground chambers linked by tunnels to the old gaol and the river Lee stuffed full of Irish civil war guns and munitions.
The journey takes you from surfing a WWII landing craft onto the lawns of a Cobh pub, to racing chariots through London at 3am and mistakenly hiring a hooker to deliver outstanding customer service.

The betrayers strike hard and deep and the story reaches its climax.

Beautifully narrated by one who was there, the tales are told in excellent bite-sized chunks perfect for picking up with relish for the next tasty morsel, or cavorting through the whole lot on a binge of laughter.

About The Author: Count Charles Huguenot is the nom de plume of a reputed international business consultant and hotelier who weaves biographical fiction around actual historic events and dates; while hopefully avoiding the landmines of litigation.
